Former therapy rooms were transformed into a carefully curated gallery space, with self-portraits, sculpture, and guerilla-style London Underground art filling the frames all made by mental health patients. presented at Outsider Gallery, London’s first mental health art gallery. Every piece of artwork and all of the music that is played in the space was produced during therapy sessions run by Ben Wakeling, a self-trained art therapist and Jon Hall, a former record producer-turned-music therapist, the curators of this exhibit.
